Choose only the clues you know

Search one length or all

Select an exact length when positions matter. Choose all lengths when you have a prefix, ending, required letters, sequence, or exclusions.

Required letters

Contains requires every entered letter, including repeated copies. Other letters may still appear in a result.

Ordered patterns

Starts with and End in match exact affixes. Sequence pattern keeps letters in order and uses underscores as exact gaps.

Word data and points

Switch between the more familiar core list and the broader extended list. Displayed points are base English tile values, without board multipliers.

Use Word Finder for clues, not a limited rack

A word finder is most useful when you know facts about the answer: its length, one or more positions, a beginning, an ending, letters that must appear, or letters that cannot appear. Start with the strongest confirmed clue and add another only when the result list is still too broad. This keeps the search understandable and makes conflicting clues easier to spot.
